In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Celina Bobcats basketball team scored a good 47-31 triumph over the Independence Knights.
In their next game, the Bobcats meet the Liberty Christian Warriors (Argyle, TX) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 19. Celina will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 13-4 record after their 51-18 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Addison, TX).
With the defeat, Independence moves to 6-6 on the year. The Knights travel to Heritage (Frisco, TX) to meet the Coyotes in a 5A Region II District 10 match on Friday, December 16. The Coyotes enter the match with a record of 9-5. Heritage lost 39-37 in their recent non-league match against Timber Creek (Fort Worth, TX)
