Michigan High School Basketball - Dryden can't hold off Lapeer

The Lapeer Lightning basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the host Dryden Cardinals to 46 in the Lightning non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lightning now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fenton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Lapeer will battle a Tigers team coming off a 69-41 league win over Swartz Creek (Swartz Creek, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Carsonville-Port Sanilac (Carsonville, MI). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Carsonville-Port Sanilac was nudged by Deckerville (Deckerville, MI), 31-17, in a non-league contest.
