The East Wake Academy Eagles basketball team (Zebulon, NC), was routed 57-28 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Franklinton Rams (Franklinton, NC)
The Rams now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bunn for a 2A/3A Conference 17 battle on Friday, December 16. Franklinton will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 46-31 non-league loss to Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-3.
The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Neuse Charter trounced Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC), 49-16, in a non-league battle.
