West Virginia High School Basketball - Frankfort ripped by Mountain Ridge

December 13, 2022: Ridgeley, WV 26753

The Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Frankfort Falcons to 25 in the Miners non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Miners now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clear Spring for a Freelance contest on Thursday, December 15. Mountain Ridge will battle a Blazers team coming off a 50-41 non-league loss to South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD). The Blazers record now stands at 1-1.

The Falcons (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Wheeling Central Catholic (Wheeling, WV). The Maroon Knights enter the Ohio Valley contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Wheeling Central Catholic triumphed over Frontier (New Matamoras, OH), 75-48, in a non-league contest.
