Maine High School Basketball - John Bapst Memorial can't hold off Washington Academy

The John Bapst Memorial Crusaders basketball team (Bangor, ME), was nudged 47-45 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Washington Academy Raiders (East Machias, ME)
The Raiders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bucksport for a B North battle on Thursday, December 15. Washington Academy will battle a Golden Bucks team coming off a 41-20 non-league loss to George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Golden Bucks record now stands at 0-2.
The Crusaders (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME). The Wildcats come into the B North battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Presque Isle was nudged by Old Town (Old Town, ME), 53-42, in a league battle.
