The Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) basketball nipped the host Winn Mavericks (Eagle Pass, TX), 47-43 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Wolves (14-9) will now prepare for their test against Weslaco (Weslaco, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 18-5 record. In their last test, Weslaco was tipped by United South (Laredo, TX), 55-30, in a non-league test.

The Mavericks now own a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Legacy for a 5A Region IV District 28 test on Friday, December 16. Winn will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 55-49 non-league loss to Devine (Devine, TX). The Titans record now stands at 8-13.
