The Tintic Miners basketball team (Eureka, UT), was toppled 37-20 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT)

The Knights now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grand County for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 15. Merit Preparatory Academy will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 49-34 non-league win over Providence Hall (Herriman, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 5-2.

The Miners (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Manila (Manila, UT). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Manila beat American Prep WV (West Valley City, UT), 42-15, in a non-league battle.
