Vicksburg Gators (Vicksburg, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Murrah Mustangs (Jackson, MS), 57-35 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Vicksburg upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Ridgeland (Ridgeland, MS) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Terry Bulldogs (Terry, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Murrah will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 61-21 non-league loss to Brookhaven (Brookhaven, MS).
