Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Rodriguez Mustangs (Fairfield, CA), 61-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Eagles host Lodi (Lodi, CA) to play the Flames in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Flames come into the bout with a record of 3-6. Lodi lost 41-37 in their recent non-league bout against Sheldon (Sacramento, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Tracy Bulldogs (Tracy, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. Rodriguez will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 44-42 non-league win over Mountain House (Mountain House, CA).
