Florida High School Basketball - Sunlake thwarts River Ridge

December 13, 2022: Land O' Lakes, FL 34638

The Sunlake Seahawks (Land O' Lakes, FL) basketball knocked off the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 55-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Seahawks (4-3) will now prepare for their test against Wesley Chapel (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Wesley Chapel notched a victory over Fivay (Hudson, FL), 52-12, in a league test.

The Royal Knights now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Petersburg for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. River Ridge will encounter a Green Devils squad coming off a 43-38 non-league loss to Gibbs (St. Petersburg, FL). The Green Devils record now stands at 8-1.
