San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sierra Vista Dons (Baldwin Park, CA), 46-35 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Gabriel upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Matadors host Norwalk (Norwalk, CA) to clash with the Lancers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Norwalk lost 60-28 in their recent non-league bout against La Habra (La Habra, CA)

Next up, the Dons clash with the Baldwin Park Braves (Baldwin Park, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Sierra Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 26-14 non-league loss to Glenn (Norwalk, CA).
