    The Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) basketball knocked off the host Van Alstyne Panthers (Van Alstyne, TX), 65-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.

    The Indians (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Lynch (Dallas, TX). The Friars go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Bishop Lynch notched a victory over Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX), 69-47, in a league test.

    The Panthers now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they host Melissa for a non-league test on Friday, December 16. Van Alstyne will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 48-42 league win over Lovejoy (Lucas, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 8-10.
