Summit Storm (Bend, OR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Eugene Axe (Eugene, OR), 70-20 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Summit upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Storm travel to West Albany (Albany, OR) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-1. West Albany won 43-18 in their recent league bout against Dallas (Dallas, OR)

Next up, the Axe play the Grant Generals (Portland, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. South Eugene will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
