Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waterville-Elysian-Morristown Buccaneers (Waterville, MN), 63-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Waseca upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Bluejays host Fairmont (Fairmont, MN) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Fairmont lost 64-60 in their recent league bout against New Ulm (New Ulm, MN)

Next up, the Buccaneers play the Randolph Rockets (Randolph, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Waterville-Elysian-Morristown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 49-37 league win over Kingsland (Spring Valley, MN).
