Florida High School Basketball - Anclote tops Mitchell

December 13, 2022: New Port Richey, FL 34655

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL) and the host Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL), saw Anclote's basketball squad knock off Mitchell by a tally of 46-33.

With the victory, Anclote improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Fivay (Hudson, FL) to play the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-4. Fivay won 37-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL)

Next up, the Mustangs play the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Royal Knights come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 20-18 non-league win over Springstead (Spring Hill, FL).
