In Tuesday's league outing, the Braden River Pirates (Bradenton, FL) basketball squad edged the visiting Southeast Seminoles (Bradenton, FL), by a margin of 44-41.
The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lakewood Ranch (Bradenton, FL). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Lakewood Ranch held off Booker (Sarasota, FL), 50-43, in a non-league outing.
The Seminoles now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Parrish Community for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 15. Southeast will clash with a Bulls squad coming off a 49-36 non-league win over Winthrop College Prep Academy (Riverview, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 7-1.
