The Franklinton Rams basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting East Wake Academy Eagles to 33 in the Rams non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the victory, Franklinton upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Bunn (Bunn, NC) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Bunn lost 37-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwest Halifax (Littleton, NC)

Next up, the Eagles play the Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. East Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 55-46 non-league loss to East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC).
