Etna Lions (Etna, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Maxwell Panthers (Maxwell, CA), 46-24 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Etna upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Biggs (Biggs, CA) to clash with the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Wolverines go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Biggs won 48-24 in their recent non-league bout against Quincy (Quincy, CA)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the East Nicolaus Spartans (Nicolaus, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Maxwell will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
