Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wake Forest Cougars (Wake Forest, NC), 77-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Farmville Central upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Jaguars host Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Ayden - Grifton lost 54-42 in their recent non-league bout against West Craven (Vanceboro, NC)

Next up, the Cougars play the South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Wake Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 36-34 non-league loss to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC).
