In Wednesday's league match, the host Lakewood Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 65-32 triumph over the Blaine Borderites.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest match, on Saturday, December 16. Lakewood will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record.
