Florida High School Basketball - Forest nips Palatka

Forest Wildcats (Ocala, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Palatka Panthers (Palatka, FL), 71-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Forest upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Wildcats host Lake Weir (Ocala, FL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Lake Weir won 58-57 in their recent league bout against Dunnellon (Dunnellon, FL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Menendez Falcons (St. Augustine, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Palatka will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 65-48 non-league win over Oakleaf (Orange Park, FL).
