Michigan High School Basketball - Hill-McCloy ripped by New Standard Academy

The New Standard Academy Spartans basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Hill-McCloy Rams to 35 in the Spartans non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host International Academy for a Genesee Area - Red contest on Friday, December 15. New Standard Academy will meet a Phoenix team coming off a 50-33 non-league win over Bad Axe (Bad Axe, MI). The Phoenix record now stands at 2-0.
The Rams (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Durand (Durand, MI). The Railroaders enter the Mid-Michigan contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Durand triumphed over Byron (Byron, MI), 81-44, in a league contest.
