Sheridan Spartans (Sheridan, OR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Oakridge Warriors (Oakridge, OR), 69-62 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sheridan upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Tillamook (Tillamook, OR) to play the Cheesemakers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Cheesemakers go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Tillamook lost 69-50 in their recent non-league bout against Newport (Newport, OR)

Next up, the Warriors play the Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 15. Oakridge will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Hilanders come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Grant Union (John Day, OR).
