Maryland High School Basketball - Paint Branch nudges Seneca Valley

December 13, 2023: Germantown, MD 20874

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) basketball squad edged the host Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles (Germantown, MD), by a margin of 53-51.

The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Northwood (Silver Spring, MD). The Gladiators go into the Montgomery 4A East outing with a 1-2 record. In their last outing, Northwood was tipped by Wootton (Rockville, MD), 64-44, in a non-league outing.

The Screamin' Eagles now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Northwest for a Montgomery 4A West outing on Tuesday, December 19. Seneca Valley will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 59-53 non-league loss to Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1.
