The Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers (Avondale, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), 46-33 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Lutheran (Metairie, LA). The Gryphons go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Lutheran went down by Haynes Academy (Metairie, LA), 61-16, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Mt. Hermon for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Varnado will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 70-54 non-league win over Independence (Independence, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-7.
