North Carolina High School Basketball - Rocky River edges Piedmont

December 13, 2023: Mint Hill, NC 28217

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) basketball squad nipped the visiting Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC), by a margin of 74-68.

The Ravens (4-6) will now prepare for their outing against Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars go into the 4A Southwestern outing with a 5-2 record. In their last outing, Charlotte Catholic was tipped by Independence (Charlotte, NC), 59-45, in a league outing.

The Panthers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Harding University for a non-league outing on Monday, December 18. Piedmont will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 93-71 league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 2-5.
