With the victory, Homewood-Flossmoor upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Vikings host Thornton (Harvey, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Simeon will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record.
