Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA) and the host Ambridge Bridgers (Ambridge, PA), saw Riverside's basketball squad overcome Ambridge by a tally of 51-35.
With the victory, Riverside improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Central Valley (Monaca, PA) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 18. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Central Valley lost 52-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Coraopolis, PA)
Next up, the Bridgers play the Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 14. Ambridge will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bucs come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 54-14 non-league win over Southmoreland (Alverton, PA).
