Connecticut High School Basketball - Bridgeport Central overwhelms Wilbur Cross

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT) and the host Wilbur Cross Governors (New Haven, CT), saw Bridgeport Central's basketball squad wallop Wilbur Cross by a count of 49-26.

With the victory, Bridgeport Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Danbury (Danbury, CT) to play the Hatters in a Fairfield County challenge on Friday, December 22. The Hatters come into the challenge with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Governors play the Hillhouse Academics (New Haven, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Wilbur Cross will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
