Chancellor Chargers (Fredericksburg, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA), 44-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Chancellor upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to Eastern View (Culpeper, VA) to clash with the Cyclones in a Battlefield bout on Friday, December 15. The Cyclones go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Eastern View lost 58-15 in their recent league bout against James Monroe (Fredericksburg, VA)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Massaponax Panthers (Spotsylvania, VA) in a Commonwealth bout, on Friday, December 15. Colonial Forge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 57-13 league win over Mountain View (Stafford, VA).
