Minnesota High School Basketball - Elk River ripped by Minnetonka

The Minnetonka Skippers basketball team scored 76 points and held the host Elk River Elks to 43 in the Skippers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Skippers now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waconia for a AAAA Section 2 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Minnetonka will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 86-45 non-league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.
The Elks (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Champlin Park was routed by Woodbury (Woodbury, MN), 55-51, in a non-league contest.
