Indiana High School Basketball - Tri tops Union County

Tri Titans (Straughn, IN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), 48-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tri upgrades its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Cowan (Muncie, IN) to play the Blackhawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Blackhawks come into the bout with a record of 3-8. Cowan lost 45-12 in their recent league bout against Wapahani (Selma, IN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) in a Tri-Eastern bout, on Saturday, December 16. Union County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 45-40 league win over Union City (Union City, IN).
