In Wednesday's non-league test, the host St. John's Pioneers ice hockey team scored a good 8-0 win over the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties.

The Pioneers (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Franklin (Franklin, MA). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record.

Next up, the Mounties encounter the North Kingstown Skippers (North Kingstown, RI) in a State Championship Division test, on Friday, December 15.
