Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI) followers left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT), 6-1 in a non-league match.

The Crusaders (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Sentinels enter the State Championship Division match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Smithfield tipped Cumberland (Cumberland, RI), 7-3, in a league match.

Next up, the Centaurs clash with the Eastern CT Eagles (Groton, CT) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, December 20. Woodstock Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
