North Carolina High School Basketball - Currituck County edges Great Bridge

The Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) basketball nipped the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats (Chesapeake, VA), 50-44 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Knights (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Northampton County (Gaston, NC). The Jaguars go into the non-league test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Northampton County was tipped by KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC), 54-36, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a non-league test on Friday, December 15. Great Bridge will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 66-46 non-league win over Norcom (Portsmouth, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.
