The Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Simeon Wolverines to 42 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenwood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 26. Homewood-Flossmoor will meet a Broncos team coming off a 40-34 league win over Dyett (Chicago, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 8-2.
The Wolverines (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL). The Hawks enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest triumphed over Thornton Fractional South (Lansing, IL), 73-37, in a league contest.
