Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Navajo Pine Warriors (Navajo, NM), 50-38 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Whitehorse upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Raiders travel to Pinnacle (Price, UT) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, January 5. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-1.
With the defeat, Navajo Pine moves to 1-1 on the year. The Warriors host Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM) to meet the Lobos in a non-league match on Friday, December 29. The Lobos enter the match with a record of 1-1.
