In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Dripping Springs Tigers basketball team scored a big 58-27 triumph over the Anderson Trojans.

The Tigers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bowie (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 6A Region IV District 26 contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Bowie was trounced by Johnson (Buda, TX), 64-61, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX) in a 5A Region III District 24 contest, on Friday, December 20. Anderson will attempt to better on its 3-14 season record.
