Apple Valley Eagles (Apple Valley, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting North Community Polars (Minneapolis, MN), 73-59 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Apple Valley advances its record to 2-0 on the year. The Eagles host Rosemount (Rosemount, MN) to face the Irish in a AAAA Section 3 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Irish enter the match with a record of 1-2. Rosemount lost 76-67 in their recent non-league match against Moorhead (Moorhead, MN)
The Polars now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to DeLaSalle for a non-league match on Friday, January 10.
