Texas High School Basketball - Kountze overwhelms Aransas Pass

The Kountze Lions basketball team scored 105 points and limited the host Aransas Pass Panthers to 62 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now have a 13-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hardin-Jefferson for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Kountze will confront a Hawks team coming off a 69-54 non-league win over Little Cypress-Mauriceville (Orange, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 7-7.
With the loss, Aransas Pass falls to 11-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to La Porte (La Porte, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 9-5. La Porte won 96-87 in their recent non-league game against Nederland (Nederland, TX)
