Alabama High School Basketball - Austin sneaks past Hazel Green

The Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) basketball edged the host Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL), 64-58 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Black Bears now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Columbus for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Austin will play a Falcons team coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS). The Falcons record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Hazel Green falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Sparkman (Harvest, AL) to play the Senators in a non-league bout on Monday, December 16. The Senators go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Sparkman lost 70-47 in their recent non-league bout against Mae Jemison (Huntsville, AL)
