In Friday's non-league contest, the host Central Valley Warriors basketball team scored a big 73-45 win over the Bishop Canevin Crusaders.
The Warriors (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Scotties come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Southmoreland smashed Yough (Herminie, PA), 50-24, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Washington Prexies (Washington, PA) in a WPIAL 3A 2 contest, on Friday, December 20. Bishop Canevin will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Prexies come into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 74-35 non-league loss to South Allegheny (McKeesport, PA).
