The East Gaston Warriors basketball team scored 72 points and limited the visiting Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy Eagles to 58 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they host South Point for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 18. East Gaston will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 71-57 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Red Raiders record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Valor Preparatory Academy (Concord, NC) to play the Owls in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Owls go into the game with a record of 2-5. Valor Preparatory Academy lost 66-64 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)
