The Bridge City Cardinals basketball team scored 41 points and limited the visiting Sabine Pass Sharks to 31 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to West Orange-Stark for a 4A Region III District 18 game on Tuesday, December 17. Bridge City will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 70-22 non-league loss to La Marque (La Marque, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, Sabine Pass falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Evadale (Evadale, TX) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Rebels go into the game with a record of 9-4. Evadale won 54-49 in their recent non-league game against Jasper (Jasper, TX)
