In Friday's non-league battle, the host Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy Sentinels basketball squad scored a nice 68-60 victory over the Byron Eagles.
With the victory, Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy advances its record to 2-4 on the year. The Sentinels host Livingston Christian (Pinckney, MI) to meet the Falcons in a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 17. The Falcons enter the battle with a record of 3-1.
The Eagles now own a 0-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mt. Morris for a Mid-Michigan battle on Monday, December 16. Byron will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 65-39 league win over Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Panthers record now stands at 6-0.
