The Grandview Zebras basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Carter-Riverside Eagles to 38 in the Zebras non-league triumph on Friday.

The Zebras now have a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mineral Wells for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Grandview will confront a Rams team coming off a 40-33 non-league loss to San Elizario (San Elizario, TX). The Rams record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Carter-Riverside falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Southwest (Fort Worth, TX) to confront the Raiders in a 4A Region I District 8 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 10-7. Southwest won 63-29 in their recent non-league game against Henrietta (Henrietta, TX)
