In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Sherwood Warriors basketball team scored a good 76-59 win over the Churchill Bulldogs.
The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Damascus (Damascus, MD). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Damascus defeated Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD), 68-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Blair Blazers (Silver Spring, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. Churchill will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Blazers come into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 63-62 non-league win over Magruder (Rockville, MD).
