The Velma-Alma Comets basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Comanche Indians to 52 in the Comets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Waurika for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Velma-Alma will play a Eagles team coming off a 55-36 non-league win over Springer (Springer, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Comanche falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Indians host Purcell (Purcell, OK) to play the Dragons in a Canadian Valley game on Tuesday, December 17. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 1-3. Purcell lost 44-41 in their recent non-league game against Community Christian (Norman, OK)
