The Cavaliers now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Trinity Christian for a non-league bout on Friday, December 20. Covenant Classical will play a Eagles team coming off a 45-14 non-league win over Poetry Community Christian (Poetry, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 15-2.

With the loss, Grace Classical Christian Academy falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Azle Christian (Azle, TX) to confront the Fighting Crusaders in a TAPPS 1A District 2 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Fighting Crusaders go into the game with a record of 11-4. Azle Christian won 44-14 in their recent non-league game against St. Paul's Prep (Arlington, TX)
