The Dardanelle Sand Lizards basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Mayflower Eagles to 41 in the Sand Lizards non-league triumph on Friday.

The Sand Lizards now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Danville for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Dardanelle will play a Little Johns team coming off a 46-33 non-league win over Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR). The Little Johns record now stands at 10-1.

With the loss, Mayflower falls to 4-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Harmony Grove (Benton, AR) to play the Cardinals in a 3A Region 5 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 3-6. Harmony Grove lost 38-32 in their recent league game against Baptist Prep (Little Rock, AR)
